The title character in the iconic film Patch Adams starring Robin Williams, Adams gained worldwide notoriety for bringing humor into patient care. The Joy of Caring will include a dialogue exploring burnout prevention for caregivers. Dr. Adams focuses on the magic and power of care, not only in the patient’s life, but also in the caregiver’s life.
